The dynamic duo of Beyoncé Knowles and Lady Gaga, renowned Grammy Award winners, have reportedly inked a deal to headline a reboot of the classic 1991 adventure road drama, with promises of an exciting collaboration that extends beyond the screen.

In a breaking report by Media Take Out, the R&B queen and pop sensation have enthusiastically committed to breathe new life into the iconic roles of Thelma and Louise. According to a trusted Hollywood insider, the powerhouse pair is not only thrilled about the venture but has also taken up additional roles as producers for the film's music.

Allegedly, Lady Gaga, born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, pledged to join forces with Beyoncé after the success of "A Star Is Born," where she stepped in as Beyoncé's replacement due to the latter's pregnancy. The insider revealed, "Beyoncé was supposed to star in the [2018] movie 'A Star Is Born,' but she got pregnant [with her twins] right before filming started. So she handpicked Lady Gaga as her replacement for the movie - and it turned out [to] be a huge success."

The source further emphasized, "[Lady Gaga] promised Beyoncé after the movie was a hit, that they would work together and now it's happening." Contracts have purportedly been signed, solidifying the commitment of these mega-stars to this cinematic endeavor.

While specifics about the project, such as its setting and director, remain undisclosed, fans are already buzzing with anticipation. The original "Thelma and Louise" featured Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis, directed by Ridley Scott, earning critical acclaim and six Academy Award nominations, including a win for Best Original Screenplay.

Beyoncé and Lady Gaga, both accomplished in the realm of acting, bring a wealth of experience to the table. Beyoncé has graced the cast of films like "Dreamgirls" (2006) and "Obsessed" (2009), in addition to lending her voice to animated and Disney productions. Lady Gaga, celebrated for her roles in "American Horror Story: Hotel" and "A Star Is Born," continues to captivate audiences with her recent appearance in "House of Gucci" (2021) and the highly anticipated "Joker: Folie a Deux," scheduled for a 2024 release.
