A purported private video allegedly featuring Bobbi Althoff has caused a stir on the internet.
The video quickly spread across social media platforms like X and Reddit, gaining viral attention.
However, Althoff, a podcaster, swiftly addressed the issue, asserting that the person in the video is not her and suggesting it was generated by artificial intelligence (AI).

In a statement shared on Wednesday alongside a screenshot of her name trending on X, she clarified, "Hate to disappoint you all, but the reason I'm trending is 100% not me & is definitely AI generated."
She further elaborated on her Instagram Story, expressing her initial shock upon discovering the trending topic related to her.
"Guys, funny story. Yesterday I went on X, Twitter, and I saw that I was trending. And I was like, 'Oh my God. That's a first, I'm trending on Twitter. You guys must really love my podcast. Wow.' So I clicked it, and I was like, 'What the f**k is this?' "
"I felt like it was a mistake or something, like, it was like bots or something," she continued. "I didn't realize that it was actually people believing that that was me until my whole team called me and were like, 'Is this real?' "
Althoff reiterated her denial, stating, "You guys... Anyway, not me. Sorry to disappoint. But, what the f**k? No."
She also expressed discomfort with the graphic nature of the video, emphasizing, "That was so graphic, too. I was like, 'Oh my God. Need to cover my eyes.' "
