In April, Lizzo made it clear she was done with negativity and had stopped paying attention to the haters.
So, when online trolls criticized her striking 2024 Met Gala outfit—a floral sculptural gown and a tall corset headpiece by Victor Weinsanto—the "Good as Hell" singer didn't hold back.
“If I'm not in your best dressed, you’re fatphobic,” the four-time Grammy winner posted on Instagram right after her red carpet appearance.
Her comment was a direct response to the backlash and unkind comparisons, including being likened to inanimate objects like a menstrual cup.
Ignoring the hate would disregard the hard work her team put into creating the stunning design.
