Judge May Force Nicki Minaj to Sell $20M Mansion After Unpaid Lawsuit Debt

Rapper Nicki Minaj is facing a major court problem: a judge is reportedly planning to make her sell her huge California house to pay off a lawsuit debt.

Los Angeles Judge Cindy Pánuco said on Monday, November 24, that she is leaning toward ordering the forced sale of Minaj's $20 million mansion.

This is because the rapper has not paid the $500,000 she owes to a security guard named Thomas Weidenmuller.

Weidenmuller sued Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, after he claimed Petty attacked him backstage at a 2019 concert in Germany.

Because Minaj never answered the lawsuit, a judge ordered her to pay the $500,000 to cover Weidenmuller's injuries, including a broken jaw.

The judge is currently waiting for one last bank statement to make sure the sale of the $20 million home, which has a $13 million mortgage, will be enough to cover the half-million-dollar payment.

A final decision on the house sale is set for a hearing in January 2026.
