However, Addison told iHeartRadio that she doesn’t think anyone—including herself—is right for the part.
"I honestly don't think anyone deserves to play Britney," Addison said.
She called the singer an "icon" and an "enigma," adding that Britney created something so unique that it is completely untouchable.
Addison, who also grew up in Louisiana like Britney, said she doesn't think it's right to even compare the two of them.
She finished by saying she supports whatever Britney chooses for her own life and career, and she will trust Britney’s opinion on who should represent her on screen.
