Pop superstar Taylor Swift has revealed the major reason she was finally able to get back the rights to her own music: her fans!
In a recent interview, Swift confirmed that the money she made from her record-breaking Eras Tour was what she used to purchase the master recordings of her first six albums.
"My fans are why I was able to get my music back. You know, that’s how I spent that Eras Tour money," Swift said.
This comes after her years-long public fight for ownership of her original music, which she called her "life's work."
She previously thanked her fans for their support of her re-recorded albums (Taylor's Version), which helped make the purchase possible.
By buying back her masters, Swift now has full control over all the music she has ever made.
