Many celebrities have joined the #FreeBritney movement, and Aaron Carter is one of them.

The 32-year-old singer recently took to Instagram live to express his real thoughts in regards to the initiative to dissolve Spears' legal restraints.

Tending to the "Toxic" singer's parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears, Carter said, "She deserves a chance. Give her a chance to be a woman and not feel that she can't feel anymore because of you guys."

"It's not right... you guys work her to death, and she doesn't have any sort of normalcy in her life, and it's because of this," he added, "I stand with Britney."

Carter then explained why people who once made mistakes in their lives should be given a chance.

"People can learn from their mistakes and learn from certain things that they didn't do right," he said," or maybe they weren't taught growing up."

"It's really sad that people will go out of their way to kind of drive you crazy," Carter added, "make you seem crazy, push you push you, and push you... then deem you unfit."

Spears' father had held control over the pop icon's conservatorship for 11 years, dealing with her financial affairs and daily life since 2008, before he expelled himself from the order in September 2019.

Since then, Jodi Montgomery has assumed the job of the pop star's temporary conservator.

Now, a fan-driven movement called #FreeBritney is calling for Spears to be freed from the conservatorship.

A year ago, fans protested outside a court in Los Angeles during a hearing about the legal arrangement, which they think is a way to control and manipulate the award-winning singer.

They were seen holding signs that read "End the conservatorship" and "Let Britney live out of terror."

Just recently, fans also made an online petition to put an end to Spears' conservatorship.
