Parents Adopt Five Children with Special Needs

Paul and Ashley Kellogg from Indiana are already doting parents to six children. But still, they decided to adopt five kids, more than half of whom have special needs.

The couple told PEOPLE that they would not have it any other way. Ashley said: "I feel like my heart will always be open to it, always be able to make room."

"We had always thought about sibling adoption, but hadn't really thought of special needs," she added. "[But we realized] that we had skills — and maybe a different perspective — that other people [didn't] have."

Paul and Ashley have adopted an additional five children over the years. They said their lives have only been enriched by their additions.
