Avril Lavigne has made a TikTok debut and is taking us back to the early aughts.

The 36-year-old singer’s 2002 hit single "Sk8er Boi" is featured in the short clip, which was created in collaboration with fellow millennial preteen icon Tony Hawk.

The caption of Avril’s video reads, "He was a…," referring to the memorable lyrics of the song.

With the ocean as a backdrop, she lip-synced the song while donning her signature outfit from the song's era: a black sleeveless tee and matching shorts paired with a striped necktie.

While the chorus continued to play, the video cut to Tony riding his skateboard and wearing the same tie.

Her announcement of the collaboration also appeared on Instagram, where she posted a photo with the professional skateboarder.

"I just posted my first @tiktok with the legendary @tonyhawk… go check it out!" Avril captioned the pictures.

Avril recently uploaded a video to Instagram showing off her own skateboarding skills on the halfpipe.

The clip shows her gaining momentum as her boyfriend Mod Sun cheers her on and tells her to be careful just before she falls.
