Meghan Markle has an incredibly busy schedule. Now, however, she has more time on her hands.

Netflix just canceled the Duchess of Sussex's plans for a children's cartoon series.

As reported by Deadline, a decrease in subscribers and budget cuts caused Netflix to cancel Meghan's unexpected animated series.

It would have been about a 12-year-old girl who is on a journey to find herself through the examples of great women in history.

Meghan and Prince Harry's Archwell Productions created the series, which was executive produced by David Furnish, Elton John's husband.

Meghan's series was not the only planned animated series that were canceled because the company has been having financial troubles since January 2022.

Since Netflix warned in January that its subscriber numbers were dropping, the company nearly lost its value.
