Ed Sheeran Performs Spontaneously in NYC to Celebrate Copyright Lawsuit Victory

Ed Sheeran, the famous English singer and songwriter, surprised fans with a spontaneous performance on a car in New York City on Friday.

Sheeran celebrated his recent win in the "Thinking Out Loud" copyright lawsuit by performing a heartfelt rendition of his single "Boat" for the crowd gathered around the car.

The singer, dressed in black pants, a black jacket, and Nikes, appeared to be in high spirits as he paced the roof of the car throughout the impromptu performance.

Fans were delighted with the unexpected concert, and many cheered and sang along with Sheeran.

In addition to his musical performance, Sheeran also shared some personal news about his latest album, "Subtract."

He revealed that one of the songs on the album, "Dusty," was written for his daughter Lyra Antarctica, who is two and a half years old.


He spoke about how he would visit a mural dedicated to his late friend Jamal and then go home to cry himself to sleep, only to be awakened by his energetic daughter in the morning.

Sheeran also spoke about his diverse music tastes, from heavy metal to mellow tunes, mentioning the band Black Sabbath and singer Norah Jones.
