Christina Aguilera Postpones Las Vegas Shows Due to Flu

Grammy-winning artist Christina Aguilera, 43, has been forced to postpone two of her Las Vegas residency shows just days after the much-anticipated opening weekend at the Voltaire Belle de Nuit venue inside Sin City’s Venetian Resort.

The singer took to her Instagram Story on Wednesday to share the unfortunate news with her followers. Aguilera disclosed that she had come down with the flu right after her dynamic performances that marked the beginning of her residency.

“After welcoming you all to the new year from the stage in Las Vegas, I’ve been welcomed with a new year flu!!!” expressed Aguilera, expressing her regret for having to reschedule the upcoming weekend’s shows to prioritize her health.

“I cannot wait to be back on that stage in a few weeks,” she reassured her fans, emphasizing how proud she is of the show and conveying gratitude for the overwhelming support and love received after her performances on December 30 and 31.

The "Genie in a Bottle" singer reflected on 2023 during the opening night, celebrating "the beginning of a new chapter." Despite the setback, Aguilera remains optimistic and looks forward to returning to the stage soon.

“See you soon 🤒😷,” she concluded her message, leaving fans eagerly anticipating her return.
