When questioned by Lowe about her current priorities, the iconic songstress didn't hesitate to express her newfound appreciation for friendship. "Friendship," she declared, signaling a shift in her values.

Reflecting on her experiences, Shakira shared, "I think friendship lasts longer than love," acknowledging the enduring nature of platonic bonds.

However, she didn't discount the significance of romantic love, describing it as an integral part of the human experience.

"Though I still think experiencing love, fully experiencing it with all its peaks and valleys, it's so essential to the human life," she added.

In a poignant moment, Shakira confessed to grappling with heartbreak, revealing, "Because I thought love would be there forever for me. And that's one of my, you know, broken dreams. Perhaps I will. I don't know if I'll find that again. Probably not. Well, I don't know. But friendship, I have."

The conversation delved deeper into Shakira's personal growth, with the 47-year-old superstar acknowledging a shift in her perception of friendships.

She admitted, "I wasn't one of those people who valued friendship as much," highlighting a newfound appreciation for the enduring bonds of camaraderie.

Looking ahead, Shakira expressed optimism about the future, emphasizing her belief that while she may not grow old with a partner, she is certain to grow old surrounded by good friends.
