Shawn Mendes Reveals he loved Camila Cabello Five Years Before they Started a Relationship

In a recent interview, Shawn Mendes became candid as he confessed his feelings for Camila Cabello.

"It takes a lot of courage to tell the woman that you love that you love her," Mendes told Access Hollywood. "I had five years of fear of getting rejected by her that just stopped me from doing it every time — or just confidence."


"I think, you know, it just took a lot. It took a long time of preparing," he added. "I mean, I had a five-year warmup to finally be able to tell her how I felt!"

The loved-up couple began dating in July 2019 after being friends since 2014, as reported by Daily Mail.
