Chris Brown Responds to Backlash Over Upcoming Collaboration with Chloe Bailey


On Friday, February 17, Chris Brown took to his Instagram Stories to address apparent criticism he and Chloe Bailey received after announcing their upcoming collaboration on the track "How Does It Feel."

Brown's all-text Instagram Story appears to respond to fans who disapproved of Bailey's decision to collaborate with him.

In the Story, Brown seemingly references his past mistake of physically abusing his then-girlfriend Rihanna when he was 19 years old.

Brown, who is now 33, expressed his frustration with people continuing to hold him accountable for a mistake he made when he was younger.

Brown also criticized what he sees as a double standard in the entertainment industry, asking why cancel culture is not targeting white celebrities who have faced assault allegations, such as Mel Gibson, Nicolas Cage, Ozzy Osbourne, Charlie Sheen, and others. The mentioned celebrities have yet to respond to Brown's statements.

In his concluding remarks, Brown declared that he will no longer entertain insincere love and asked people to stay out of his way or face consequences.
