Bower further claimed that Camilla had expressed her suspicions about the Duchess of Sussex and found it difficult to believe that Meghan would give up her career and independence to serve silently as a team player devoted to the monarchy.

Bower also suggested that the Queen had shared her thoughts with King Charles to assure him that he had done his best as a father.

In contrast, King Charles apparently admires Meghan for her strength and refers to her as "Tungsten" because she is tough and unbending like the metal.

This nickname has been used as a term of endearment by King Charles, who values Meghan's support for Harry, who he considers a "softie."
