In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, singer-songwriter SZA chose to focus on the positive qualities of her friend and musical collaborator Lizzo amidst the harassment lawsuit brought forward by three former dancers of the "Special" singer in August.

While SZA refrained from directly commenting on the legal issues, she expressed her admiration for Lizzo, stating, "I’m just saying, based on the values and the energy that I see in my friend, I just really think that she’s a beautiful person. I just really pray that everybody recovers from this because everybody deserves to heal and feel safe and feel loved."

SZA emphasized the importance of healing and feeling safe, hoping that everyone involved in the situation finds peace. The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles by dancers Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez, contains detailed allegations of various legal wrongdoings by Lizzo (real name Melissa Jefferson) and her Big Grrrl Big Touring Inc.

One of the allegations in the lawsuit claimed that Lizzo pushed the dancers to attend a sex show in Amsterdam’s Red Light District and pressured them to engage with the performers. The document also detailed alleged outbursts by Lizzo, including an "excruciating re-audition" in April. Lizzo, in response, took to Twitter to deny the claims, referring to them as "false allegations" and "sensationalized stories."

As the legal battle continues, SZA's message of support serves as a reminder of the importance of empathy, healing, and understanding amidst challenging situations in the entertainment industry.
