Renowned singer Sam Smith surprised attendees at Vivienne Westwood’s Fall/Winter 2024 runway show during Paris Fashion Week by strutting down the catwalk not as a performer but as a model.

The 31-year-old "Unholy" singer, known for their unique style and expressive persona, captivated the audience in a green long-sleeved V-neck top layered under a striking red plaid shawl-like jacket.

The ensemble was further accentuated with a high-waisted green plaid kilt, red plaid knee-high socks, and towering olive green plaid platform boots, creating a bold fashion statement.

Footage shared by Women's Wear Daily captured Smith exuding confidence as they showcased the avant-garde ensemble.

Sporting waist-length hair extensions and a green plaid headband, the singer's runway appearance was a testament to their individuality and fearless fashion sense.

Completing the look was a rustic brown walking stick, adding a touch of eccentricity to the overall aesthetic.

Smith's presence on the runway resonates deeply with their journey of self-discovery and identity expression.

Since publicly identifying as non-binary in 2019, the artist has been a vocal advocate for gender diversity and self-acceptance.

In a recent interview with The Sunday Times, Smith reflected on their personal growth, emphasizing the sense of liberation and authenticity they've found while working on their fourth studio album, "Gloria".

"I'm happier in my own skin on 'Gloria'," Smith expressed. "I feel liberated, released from pressures I felt when I was young. My mum says that, as I've got older, I've stopped caring what people think as much. She tends to be right."
