Britney Spears has shared a new update with fans about her injured foot after a mishap at the Chateau Marmont last week.
In a recent Instagram post featuring clips from a horseback-riding outing, the pop star revealed she might need surgery to fix her foot.
In her post on Monday, Britney wrote, “I honestly wish my life was as wild as it has been portrayed !!! Either way, some sh– actually has happened to my foot and I might have to get surgery … fingers crossed, hopefully not.”
This update comes after Britney posted videos of her bruised and swollen foot shortly after the incident at the Los Angeles hotel.
She explained that she had tried a risky leap in the living room of the Marmont early on May 2, which she initially thought resulted in a twisted ankle.
The incident was reported to the fire department around 12:42 that morning, and an ambulance was sent to the hotel.
Referring to her appearance in the photos from that night, Britney clarified in her recent post, “I was in my pajamas and yes, I had been crying because I hurt my foot !!! No breakdown !!!”
She further explained, “I’m a grown a– woman who is actually very naive in most situations !!!”
