Madonna recently reached out to her fans with a heartfelt message, expressing her gratitude for their support and sharing her first thoughts after waking up in the hospital following a stint in the intensive care unit due to a bacterial infection. In an Instagram post on Monday, July 10, the iconic singer thanked her fans and shared a selfie, showcasing her natural beauty with her hair down and a direct gaze into the camera.

"My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children," Madonna revealed. "My second thought was that I did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour. I didn't want to let down the people who worked tirelessly with me over the last few months to create my show. I didn't want to disappoint anyone."

She further emphasized her current focus, stating, "My focus now is my health and getting stronger and I can assure you, I'll be back with you as soon as I can!"

Madonna's manager, Guy Oseary, had previously announced on June 28 that she had been hospitalized due to a bacterial infection, resulting in a stay of several days in the ICU. However, he reassured fans that a full recovery was expected for the talented "Material Girl" singer.

Due to her health condition, Madonna had to temporarily halt all her commitments, including her highly anticipated 43-date tour, which was set to showcase her remarkable four-decade-long career, as Oseary mentioned earlier.

The singer's update provides a glimmer of hope to her dedicated fan base, assuring them that she is on the mend and determined to come back stronger than ever. The outpouring of love and support from fans around the world continues to uplift Madonna during her recovery journey.
