As Prince Louis approaches his 6th birthday on April 23, Kate Middleton, despite her ongoing cancer treatment, is determined to make it a special day for her youngest son.
According to a report from The Sun, Kate plans to continue a heartfelt tradition to mark the occasion.
In past years, Kate has been known to spend time in the kitchen on the eve of Louis' birthday, baking a homemade cake just for him.

The idea stems from a tradition she shared back in 2019 during an appearance on Mary Berry's A Berry Royal Christmas.
During the show, Kate mentioned that she enjoys making her children's birthday cakes from scratch, staying up late into the night surrounded by cake mix and icing.
