Lizzo, 36, took to Instagram recently to share a heartfelt update about her mental health. "I’m the happiest I’ve been in 10 months," she wrote.

In her post, the singer opened up about her struggles with depression, saying, “The strange thing about depression is you don’t know you’re in it until you’re out of it. I’m definitely not all the way as carefree as I used to be.. But the dark cloud that followed me every day is finally clearing up.”

Since last August, Lizzo has been caught in a legal battle with her former backup dancers. They filed a lawsuit against her, alleging sexual and racial harassment and claiming she created a hostile work environment. Lizzo, whose real name is Melissa Jefferson, has denied these allegations.

In response to the accusations, Lizzo posted a lengthy statement on social media. “My work ethic, morals and respectfulness have been questioned. My character has been criticized. Usually I choose not to respond to false allegations but these are as unbelievable as they sound ... too outrageous not to be addressed,” she wrote.

Despite the ongoing legal challenges, Lizzo's recent Instagram update suggests she's finding some light at the end of the tunnel. The singer's candidness about her mental health has resonated with many of her fans, who continue to support her through this difficult time.
